I had PhiBrows done some years ago here in Scotland, and when I say they changed my life, it is no exaggeration! They quite literally transformed my face not to mention the time they saved me during my makeup application. The shape is still there somewhat, however they are quite faded so I like to use a Brow Pen to create hair-like strokes, to give the appearance of a more 'realistic' brow. A Brow Pen is a great tool that can add depth and definition to the brows and really bring them back to life.
I've tried brow pens before, living in hope that the next one would be 'The One'! I thought I found a really good one and used it for a long time but I realise now, that I was only tolerating it. The shade I used was, in hindsight, too dark for my complexion. It also leaked so I had to be careful when travelling that I packed it separately in a plastic bag. Like I said, I tolerated it!
Just when I thought all hope was lost (I know, I'm V dramatic!) along came the Masterstroke Brow Trio from Brow Aid. Visually stunning in it's green (pantone 7473C to be exact) and gold, elegant and sophisticated packaging, which I'll admit had me sold right away!

Before I continue, please let me share with you a little bit about Brow Aid -
Brow Aid is a luxury Irish brand, lovingly crafted and created by Kim O' Sullivan.
Hailed as Irelands Brow Queen, Kim has over 20 years experience in the Beauty industry and over 17 years of expertise as a Brow Master and International Educator. With this expertise and passion, Kim created Brow Aid. Brow Aid offers a beautifully curated range of Brow Care products that not only help style the brows but nourish and treat them too. And what a treat they are to use!
OK, back to the product -
The Masterstroke Brow Trio offers a sturdy spoolie type brush, a waterproof brow pencil and a super fine brow pen.
THE BRUSH: Allows you to shape, style and comb product evenly through the brows.
I also like to use it to brush out any excess product where I might've been a bit heavy handed.
THE WATERPROOF PENCIL: I love to use this a couple of different ways - alone to create a soft brow and as a base to fill out the brow before using the brow pen. It's also retractable so rest assured it will travel safely. I particularly love to use this on holiday as its waterproof formula ensures my brows wont budge, even in 39 degree heat! (I have photographic evidence to prove this should you wish to see it!!).

THE PEN: My favourite part - this super fine micro pen allows you to create the most realistic hair-like strokes EVER. I love love love it! Whether I want a full structured brow or a more fluffier brow effect, or even if I just want to add a few little hair strokes to fill out a sparse area of the brow, I can trust it to help me create the perfect brow in seconds. I also like to use it as a soft liner across the upper lash line or to add a little wing to my eye look. It's such a great multitasker!

The Masterstroke Brow Trio comes in three shades, Taupe, Brown and Granite. I use the shade Brown and it is the perfect tone for me. I know Kim worked so hard to get this tone just perfect and I can confirm, she did just that. Even when I change my hair colour from a blondie blonde to a cool toned blonde this shade suits both. It is an absolute makeup bag essential and a great tool to have in your Pro kit too.
If you'd like to see the Masterstroke Brow Trio in action you can pop over to my Instagram page where I use it in a lot of my Makeup Looks.
Please let me know if you try it and what you think of it, I already know you'll love it as much as I do.
